Severe Weather Alerts Getting Major Makeover
Whether it's over the VHF radio, your cellphone or TV, you've probably heard the blaring alerts warning of severe weather such as a thunderstorm or tornado. Now the National Weather Service is revising the way these alerts are generated and disseminated.
