NEW!
Narrated Walk-Through of the TT35 Trailerable Trawler Great Harbour fans have been asking for it. We don't know why it has taken so long to do, but here it is: a narrated walk-through of the TT35. We promise more of these as we produce more of our trailerable trawlers and keep engineering new innovations. You will see how we incorporate a big head with separate shower in her narrow beam. TT35 Drone Video Shows Off Perfect Trim
Below, drone video during customer trials shows off the TT35's enviable trim on plane. She runs level not because of trim tabs - there aren't any - but because of her hull design and balance. For comparison, we would invite you to look up videos showing any of the other trailerable cruising boats underway. Anyone wanting to experience the TT35 first hand can do so during a personal demonstration ride at Lake Santa Fe near our factory in Gainesville, Florida. Call or write Sales Director Eric Kraft to set it up, 352-538-4843, [email protected] Great Harbour Builds the World's Most Versatile Liveaboard Cruisers, Designed To Go Off the Grid; Stable and Unsinkable Too

Ken Fickett, President Great Harbour Yacht & Ship Brokerage
Nobody knows your Great Harbour better than the factory and the people who built it. Ken Fickett and Eric Kraft deal only in Great Harbour trawlers and Mirage Sportfish boats (except of course for trade-ins on a purchase). They have tens of thousands of cruising miles aboard all the Great Harbour models and are experts on the systems and upkeep of these unique cruising vessels. We’ll get top dollar for your boat and help you every step of the way. But that’s just the beginning. It’s a fact that when any future trawler buyer begins researching and searching for a used Great Harbour, the first place they contact is the factory. Which makes sense since we’re the only broker who can offer them after-sale training on systems, maintenance and boat handling specific to Great Harbours. Buyers WANT to buy through us. I guess the bigger question is, why would anyone list with another broker who doesn’t have a clue about the amazing characteristics that make Great Harbours the very best cruising boats in the world? So when it’s time to part with your beloved Great Harbour trawler, you owe it to yourself to list with us--the guys who built her. SEE THE INVENTORY She Bought Herself a TT35 for Her 70th
Meet Cynthia Wommack. She’s a lifelong sailor who just turned 70. For her birthday, she bought herself a TT35 from Great Harbour. She says it’s the perfect liveaboard for her and can hardly wait for delivery. Epiphany came one day while on a daysail with friends. Hit by a blow, she went forward and willed her septuagenarian limbs to douse sail. “Then I realized that I just could not handle it anymore—70 years old—most of the people around me didn’t want to sail, just motor around.” READ THE REST Flashback to 2003: Custom Boat to Hawaii via Mexico
The meteorological chain of events that causes Tehuano gales is straightforward. In winter, cold high-pressure systems march southward from Texas over the Gulf of Mexico, creating pressure gradients that generate winds through three mountain passes to the Pacific Ocean. These passes through the cordilleras act like funnels, accelerating the winds. Counterintuitively, Tehuanos produce waves coming out from land, not crashing against it. Back in 2018, the State of Georgia was in the process of enacting draconian anchoring restrictions, ostensibly designed to protect recreational and commercial shellfishing and other marine interests. Spurred to act, a coalition of boating groups sat down with Georgia officials and negotiated a better deal for their cruising constituents. Or at least they thought they had. Now Georgia has released final rules that are almost as bad as the originals, maybe even worse. READ MORE First Covid, Now Anchor SNAFU: Shipwreck Scrap Plan Delayed Again
