A Tradition of Excellence and Innovation
For more than five decades, Mirage Manufacturing has created some of the boating industry's finest lines of high-performance sailboats, sportfishing boats and liveaboard trawlers.
In the late '90s, the Gainesville Florida company began production of the Great Harbour line of trawlers, which soon earned a reputation for reliability, economy and comfort. Today, these trawlers continue to cruise the waterways of the world, and have earned the reputation of America's Go-Anywhere Liveaboard.
Mirage's craftsmen are leaders in the proper use of fiberglass technology, and our ability to produce state-of-the-art laminates ensures that your boat will be built to stand up to the most severe conditions. Our wood workers are equally renowned for their skills, and their exquisite workmanship transforms the interiors of our boats into floating works of art.

Ken Fickett has chosen the path of controlled growth for his company, and while other boatbuilders have come and gone over the years, Mirage has continued to prosper by building one boat at a time. We're big enough to be efficient, yet small enough to be manageable and to stay healthy even during challenging economic times.
Doing business with Mirage Manufacturing is doing business with the Fickett family, as Ken's wife, Becky, and children, Travis and Jessica, are integral members of the Mirage team. Becky is Mirage's CFO, and is responsible for keeping the business side of the company running smoothly. Travis has grown up following Ken's footsteps learning the boatbuilding business, and today he is involved in all phases of design and manufacturing. Jessica keeps the front office running smoothly, manages HR and payroll, and is the company's digital assets manager.
